Toussaint was the First slave in Saint-Domigue deported and puted in jail au fort de jou in France. You should have filmed in The Commonwealth of Dominica. There seems to be more Toussaints per square mile in Pointe Michel there compared to any other island. My mother is a Toussaint and we are very proud of the heritage.

This movie will be a perfect one espacially for haitian but,Mr Glover ,and Mr Snipes should use an haitian beteen the actors,and use haitian paintings like:Lucson guerrier,Pierre augustin,apierre austin,Pylou and so on….

Mr glover, it would be interresting to make a movie about “Alexandre Dumas” who was a great Haitian General in the French Army. He was as good as Napoleon,
Toussaint etc…
